Hi Dearest Nature readers! So excited to be posting here for the first time.
Growing up in the Aussie bush, I was always surrounded by nature. Trees out every window, bright blue skies, creeks surrounded by vines and thick undergrowth to explore, and birds happily waking me up in the mornings. Since leaving home to live in the city seven years ago, I have always felt the need to go back home and soak up as much nature as I can before heading back to the concrete and steel.
I didn’t realise how much nature inspires and comforts me.
So, always being on the look out for little ways to bring nature into my city house, I’ve been excited to see the use of Birch in a lot of interiors across the internet. Birch has such a woodsy feel to it and makes me think of cabins in the forest, deers darting around outside on a soft layer of snow that dusts the ground (if only we had that in Australia!).
