Leafy Sea Dragon by Amber Alexander

Watercolor is an artform I’d like to take up someday. I have a lot of admiration for watercolor artists, especially Amber Alexander, whose work I can almost identify immediately if I see it on other blogs and websites.

All of the watercolor illustrations she creates are soft and soothing, and Amber who has been artist since childhood — drawing pages of girls with varied outfits and Beatrix Potter-inspired animals in clothing — says she loves “the way the flow of ideas from [her] head and heart flow directly onto paper”. Poetic, no?
