Clinton Friedman for West Elm

Melamine plates from West Elm

I’m aching to have a garden party. While I’m not sure I foresee one in the springtime this year, unless it falls on Mother’s Day, I’d like to have one in the summertime. I have my eye on these melamine plates that feature photographs by Clinton Friedman, available from West Elm (learn more about Clinton’s collaboration with West Elm here). I think they epitomize the perfect summer palette and it’s the next best thing to eating off of plants and flowers themselves.

And how about those pillows? Perfect for cozying up on the patio or screened-in porch like this dreamy one I came across via a pin by Brittany Campbell.
