In honor of World Book Night, Ciara Ni Dhuinn is offering a set of her wonderfully illustrated Elie’s books, a fun way to teach little ones the language of French, Spanish, and Irish that we recently profiled on the blog last week.

For those of you who might be unfamiliar with World Book Night, it “is an annual celebration designed to spread a love of reading and books. To be held in the U.S. as well as the U.K. and Ireland on April 23, 2012. It will see tens of thousands of people go out into their communities to spread the joy and love of reading …” Learn more about the cause and by all means, if you’re interested in participating in giving a book to someone, I highly encourage it.

  1. Would read these to my 3 year old. Have been teaching him a cúpla focal lately and he’s loving it.

    Have followed, liked & pinned.

  2. I have to be honest – I never enter giveaways but this one is irrisistable! My nephew Trent & my neice Zoey LOVE books and we LOVE reading together. They are 5 & 3 years old and they ADORE my children’s book collection. Being an illustrator – my life revolves around drawing so all of the books I own are picture books. These illustrations look fantastic – I would love to share these with my neice & nephew!

Thank you for the opportunity – Brandi

  3. Such beautiful illustrations – I would truly love to read these to my niece!

Thank you for sharing them with us!

  4. I would love to read and give these to my eldest niece who can then hand then on down through the rest of the kids in the family :)

  5. These look so cute! I would read these to my 17 month old daughter who absolutely loves books and is l earning Spanish along with her English.

  6. I’d read these to my gorgeous 2-year old niece Anna. She’s already bilingual, being brought up in Germany by English- and German-speaking parents, but cupla focail Gaeilge won’t go amiss so she is in touch with her Irish roots :)
