For this week’s installment of Outdoors In, let’s take a look at a few interior spaces that display nature in their home through nature-inspired accent decor.
First up is the beautiful home of Netherlands-dwelling Jane Schouten of All the Luck in the World, which was recently featured in the latest issue of Uppercase Magazine. Jane owns a shop on Etsy that’s dedicated to creating vintage-inspired art by recycling or upcycling products.

Next up, let’s take a look at the wonderful nursery in the home of Elizabeth, a piano and violin teacher from Knoxville, Tennessee, who’s hometown is Okinawa, Japan. I’m fond of the color choices Elizabeth chose for her baby Owen’s nursery, all of which are warm, soothing, and complementary.

Lastly, we have the home of Brooke Biette from the seacoast Maine of Apriltwoeighty, who is a seamstress, stylist, decorator and designer, hobby photographer, and sociologist. Brooke has a little destash shop on Etsy, aptly named little destash, so if you’re on the prowl for colorful bits of fabric for your next project, stop by Brooke’s shop.
