Bonnie Forkner's bedroom / Photo by Bonnie Forkner
Be still my beating heart! Bonnie recently shared photos of her beautiful home in California, a former barn that includes a hay loft where house guests can sleep. A swoon-worthy place, Bonnie did a stellar job of photographing her inspirational home — it’s like something I could see in an issue of Better Homes & Gardens.
A couple of my favorites from her home are her creative spaces and her outdoor space. Be warned, you might have to pick your jaw up off the floor!

Such a gorgeous space! Bonnie’s outdoor space looks so relaxing, especially with the hammocks. It’s a nice retreat in the comfort of her own outdoor space.
Be sure to check out Bonnie’s original post to see additional photos and information.
Other highlights around the internets
- People: I have the biggest style crush on Nicole Balch. Everything she creates is marvelous, like this DIY terrarium for West Elm, and her this mini terrarium and fern centerpiece. I wish she had a show on HGTV.
- Place: Aching to go to the Carlsbad flower fields featured on unstitched (not too far from my neck of the woods), so perhaps one of these weekends? Link via Danni of Oh Hello Friend
- Thing: Captivating cloud textiles by Ligne Roset via Apartment Therapy.
That has to be the loveliest home ever! I spy Katie Daisy in her home :D
sooo pretty… that wisteria is killing. me. dead.
Oh my word, what a bright and beautiful home! Looks like an inspirational place to live and work in..
I like how most of the colors complement one another in Bonnie’s house. And the little medicine-sized cabinet built-in in her creative space is to die for!
I feel in love with Bonnie’s house the second I saw it on her blog last week – it’s like my dream house!!! <3
