Color Crush: Peacock Pretty

I visit the Irvine Regional Park a few times a year. It’s a nice place to have a picnic, unwind, let the kids run around, enjoy the scenery, and the natural setting provides a great backdrop for photo shoots. A couple years ago when I was out on a photo shoot, I spotted a peacock walking around the park. It unfortunately didn’t have its wings unfurled, but being within mere yards of it without the separation of a cage or fence was exciting enough for me. They are beautiful creatures to see in person and they almost project a sense of regality .

I’m crazy about the blue and green color combination present in a peacock’s feathers and the purple hues simply leave me breathless.
