The Design Pallet

Elm slab side table by The Design Pallet

The Design Pallet‘s shop is full of gorgeous homewares made from small cut offs from previous projects, and recycled timber.

Many pieces in the shop have just a hint of the mechanical, from glass test tubes to metal table bases, allowing the rustic feel of the wood to be modernised. I feel like wood had the tendency to be boring, but these pieces are anything but! I love that Design Pallet is totally on trend with their use of geometric, minimal designs. How amazing would the vases look with a single bright flower in each tube look?!

The tables made from slabs of salvaged wood are seriously beautiful. The natural grain is allowed to shine through, knots and all. I think it’s the imperfections that make these tables so amazing.
