My soon-to-be four-year-old soaks up information like a sponge. She’s known her basic shapes and more (hexagons, pentagons, trapezoids, etc.) since before she was even three years old. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t know what a hexagon was before I entered elementary school.

Lately I’ve been inspired by geometric shapes and nature, especially naturally occurring geometric shapes: honeycombs. Here’s a slew of honeycomb-inspired jewelry, art, and more.
