Seeing these beautiful paper lamps and candlelights by UK-based artist Hannah Nunn made my eyes light up! Ten years ago, Hannah began making paper cut cards and enjoyed the silhouettes that were created when she held the cards up to a window. One of her friends suggested that she make lights and voila, Hannah’s paper cut lamps were born. Read more about Hannah via her Etsy profile.
Aren’t they a marvel? Illuminate your world with these breathtaking beauties!
Hannah has a book coming out in November of this year entitled illuminate highlighting 45 lighting artists from around the world and showcasing photos of their beautiful creations. Visit illuminate to learn more about the book.

I was delighted to hear from Laura Johnston, creator of le animalé where she sells adorable animal totems. Handcrafted from clay and painted to charming perfection, the animals measure under two inches and are great gifts for wearing or decorating.
Earlier this year, Laura along with pattern designer Jessica Swift worked on a collaboration called Tribal Adventure Totems, and last week Laura and Jessica launched a limited edition series of ten colorful whale totems (six totems and four totem necklaces) that I — pardon the pun — whaley love!
Did I mention they’re a limited edition? In less than a week, a number of the whales have already been scooped up, so make haste and head over to Laura’s or Jessica’s shop to see which whales are still available for purchase.
Former web designer turned curator and shop owner Natalie Jost has arguably one of the loveliest shops in the history of lovely shops. Olive Manna — you’ve probably heard of it — is an online shop named after Natalie’s children that carries a vast array of home decor, gift wrapping, and plenty more. Peruse the shop and you’ll find that Olive Manna epitomizes rustic charm.
A few of my nature-themed favorites:
I’m completely smitten by Ericka O’Rourke’s style of art. The way the earthy colors blend together and the organic, abstract forms that take shape in her work are breathtaking. Ericka sells a variety of abstract, earth-inspired artwork and ceramics in her shop Tierra Sky.
Hop over to Tierra Sky to see more of Ericka’s intriguing art.
