If you ever find yourself in Murrieta, California, I highly recommend hiking parts of the Santa Rosa Plateau, especially at the golden hour. It’s a great escape from the hustle and bustle of life, technology, and perhaps civilization altogether. I recently had the opportunity to spend an afternoon hiking a trail with the Mr., enjoying one another’s company and the eyefuls of scenic views of the earth and generous expanse of the sky. We took in as many colors as we could, predominantly varying shades of browns, golds, greens, and blues as far as the eye could see.
