Though it’s been nine years since I was a teenager, my inner surfer-girl feels like it’s ready to be awakened. I recently spent a night in San Clemente and drove up the Pacific Coast Highway on my birthday/anniversary this past weekend with the Mr., and for part of the time I daydreamed of strolling down the beach streets on a little cruiser skateboard. It’s probably not a look I could pull of nonchalantly, especially with three little ones in tow (unless they had their own skateboards, too!), but the idea does sound fun.
